Install the flow switch in a straight section of duct.Do not locate adjacent to dampers, elbows or transformation pieces. The switch should be mounted so that the terminals or wire leads are easily accessible for wiring.
A single large size paddle is provided, which may be trimmed to suit application.
Adjust the tension of the paddle according to the velocity of air flow. Use adjusting screw provided on microswitch bracket as shown in fig. 2.
CAUTION:
- Care must be taken to properly orient the device
for the direction of the air flow.
- Paddle must not touch the inside of the duct
or bind in any way.
