Application
Test point is used for taking pressure and temperature
measurements in liquid flow lines carrying
non-corrosive
fluids using portable instruments. Test points installed at
various locations including at
the inlet and outlet of
each pump, balancing valve and heat exchange equipment
like chiller, condenser,
cooling tower, water cooling coil,
boiler etc. facilitate measurements during commissioning and
operation of the HVAC system.

Principle of operation
The sealing bushes in the Test Point allow the passage of fine
needle-like probes to measure pressure
and temperature.
The bushes seal the passage on withdrawal of probes to prevent
liquid leakage.
