This pressure tank has a dual use. It is used as Membrane Pressure Tank / Hydropneumatic Tank in Hydronic Systems to smoothen out the pressure variation and to maintain constant system pressure.

In HVAC systems, it is used as Closed Expansion Tank to help compensate pressure variation due to water volume changes with temperature variations.

For chilled water application, it is insulated with 50 mm thick insulation to the specifications and cladded with 26G aluminum cladding.
