Sensor
Sensors convert temperature, relative humidity, pressure, flow etc into an
electrically or mechanically measurable signal. The output from sensor is
suitably amplified for transmission to controller.
Transmitters
Transmitter is a device used to amplify any electrical or mechanical signal.
Microprocessor based transmitters measure temperature, humidity etc. in remote
or difficult to access locations, linearises and amplifies and transmit the
signals over long distances.
Transducers
Transducers convert one form of energy to another form, like pneumatic to
electric or vice versa.
